This on-going exploration deals with slow decline of species due to climate change. I am making a series of portraits of animals that are extremely familiar, and very close to extinction. Some of the portraits will eventually become murals, while others will stay in the intimacy of small paintings. All are connected to a book that will be published in the near future.
